Quick symptom check
Could a hormone health consultation be useful?
Answer three short questions for an indication of the next sensible step. This is not a diagnosis and it cannot confirm that treatment is suitable.
Are you experiencing fatigue, poor sleep, mood changes, reduced libido, hot flushes, loss of strength or body-composition changes?
Have these symptoms continued for several weeks or started to affect your work, relationships, sleep or wellbeing?
Do you have a history of hormone-sensitive cancer, blood clots, unexplained bleeding, severe untreated sleep apnoea, or significant breast or prostate concerns?
How it works
Careful hormone assessment in four clear steps.
Your clinician has the time and information needed to make a safe decision. An assessment does not guarantee treatment.
Tell us about you
Complete a secure assessment covering symptoms, history, medicines and allergies.
Meet your clinician
Speak privately by video and answer any questions needed to understand the full picture.
Understand your plan
Discuss suitable options, likely benefits, important risks and alternatives.
Stay supported
Review symptoms, results and side effects, and adjust the plan only when clinically appropriate.
Assessment & testing
Tests only when they can change the decision.
For women, menopause is often assessed from symptoms and history; tests may help when the picture is unclear. For men, low testosterone should be confirmed with appropriately timed repeat blood tests alongside symptoms and clinical review.
Your clinical team
Clinicians who listen before they recommend.
An appropriately qualified UK-registered clinician will review your symptoms, history and results, and assess whether online hormone care is appropriate for you.
Clinical standards
A recommendation you can understand.
Good hormone care means being clear when treatment may be suitable—and equally clear when testing, referral or an in-person examination is the safer next step.
Important to know
Safe care includes knowing when not to treat online.
Symptoms in both men and women may need investigation before hormone treatment can be considered.
- Hormone treatment is not suitable for everyone.Suitability depends on your symptoms, examination or test findings, medical history, fertility goals and personal risk factors.
- Some symptoms need in-person investigation.Unexplained bleeding and significant breast, testicular or prostate symptoms should be assessed through the appropriate clinical route.
- Testing may be required. For example, possible testosterone deficiency should be supported by symptoms and appropriately timed repeat results before treatment is considered.
- Online care has limits.A physical examination, specialist referral or urgent care may be the right next step.

Start your assessmentCommon questions
Before your consultation.
Clear answers to common questions from men and women before starting hormone care.
Does an assessment guarantee treatment?
No. Your clinician recommends treatment only when it is clinically appropriate. Further questions, tests, referral or face-to-face care may be needed.
Will I need blood tests?
It depends. Menopause can often be assessed from symptoms, age and menstrual history. Possible testosterone deficiency in men usually requires appropriately timed repeat blood tests as well as compatible symptoms. Your clinician will explain what is relevant for you.
Can hormone therapy help every symptom?
No. Fatigue, mood changes, poor sleep, reduced libido and weight or strength changes can have many causes. A proper assessment helps identify whether hormone treatment, another treatment or further investigation is the appropriate route.
Will my GP be informed?
Sharing relevant information with your GP can support safe, joined-up care. The consultation process should explain how information is handled and when communication is recommended.
What if online care is not suitable?
Your clinician should explain why and guide you towards the right next step, such as your GP, a specialist, urgent care or a physical examination.
