IV Hydromax
Freshstart IV therapy
IV HydraMax
A clinician-led hydration infusion combining 0.9% saline with a balanced electrolyte blend and light B-vitamin support. HydraMax is designed to support hydration, normal fluid balance and normal energy-yielding metabolism when clinically appropriate.
Foundation hydration pathway
Fluid, electrolytes and light vitamin support.
HydraMax begins with a 0.9% saline base and a balanced blend of sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium, with light B-vitamin support according to the clinic’s approved protocol.
This is a supportive wellness hydration service. It is not a treatment for severe dehydration, acute illness or an underlying medical condition, and oral fluids may often be the more appropriate option.
Clinician-led fluid support
The 0.9% saline foundation provides controlled fluid support under professional supervision.
Selected mineral support
Sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium support normal fluid balance and normal muscle and nerve function.
Light B-vitamin support
Selected B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, without promising an instant or stimulant-like effect.
What is included
The HydraMax hydration profile.
The exact preparation and amounts follow the clinic’s approved protocol and your individual assessment. Your clinician will explain what is proposed before treatment.
0.9% saline
An isotonic fluid foundation used to provide controlled hydration and deliver the selected nutrients by IV infusion.
Sodium
An essential electrolyte involved in normal fluid balance and the normal function of nerves and muscles.
Potassium
Supports normal muscle and nervous-system function. Suitability and the proposed amount are assessed individually.
Calcium
Contributes to normal muscle function and neurotransmission, as well as the maintenance of normal bones.
Magnesium
Contributes to electrolyte balance, normal muscle function and normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Light B-vitamin blend
Selected B vitamins support normal energy-yielding metabolism as part of the clinic’s approved HydraMax protocol.
Who may consider HydraMax
A foundation option for hydration-focused wellness goals.
HydraMax may be discussed with adults seeking clinician-led hydration and electrolyte support when oral fluids alone may not fit their circumstances and IV treatment is clinically appropriate.
- Travel and busy schedulesFor adults looking to discuss hydration support after travel or periods when maintaining fluid intake has been difficult.
- Before or after exerciseFor hydration and electrolyte support around physical activity, without claims of guaranteed performance or recovery.
- Warm weather or increased fluid lossFor clinically assessed hydration support when heat or activity has increased everyday fluid needs.
- Foundation-level wellnessFor people seeking a straightforward saline, electrolyte and light B-vitamin formulation.
What to expect
Your HydraMax appointment.
The appointment usually takes approximately 30–45 minutes, although final timing depends on your assessment, preparation and the infusion rate selected by the clinician.
Clinical screening
Discuss your health history, medicines, allergies, symptoms and treatment goals with the clinical team.
Suitability decision
A qualified professional confirms whether HydraMax is appropriate and explains the proposed ingredients and risks.
Controlled administration
The infusion is prepared and delivered at a controlled rate while you remain under professional supervision.
Aftercare guidance
The team checks how you feel, removes the cannula and provides relevant aftercare and follow-up advice.
Safety comes first
Tell the clinician about your full health history.
HydraMax is not suitable for everyone. A different service, oral hydration, further information from your GP or no IV treatment may be the safest recommendation.
- Heart or kidney conditionsThese can affect how the body handles fluid and electrolytes, so the clinician must assess whether an IV infusion is appropriate.
- Medicines and allergiesBring an accurate medicine list, especially diuretics and blood-pressure, heart or kidney medicines, and disclose previous infusion reactions.
- Pregnancy or breastfeedingTell the clinical team if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning pregnancy before any treatment decision.
- Electrolyte considerationsKidney or adrenal conditions and some medicines can alter potassium or magnesium levels and may require further checks.
- Possible IV risksThese may include discomfort, bruising, swelling or irritation at the cannula site, dizziness, infection or an allergic reaction.
- Severe dehydration or acute symptomsConfusion, fainting, inability to keep fluids down, chest pain or severe breathlessness need urgent medical assessment—not a wellness IV.
Common questions
Before booking HydraMax.
Clear information helps you decide whether a clinical consultation is the right next step.
How long does a HydraMax appointment take?
The appointment usually takes approximately 30–45 minutes. Your clinician may adjust the infusion rate, and you should allow time for assessment, preparation and aftercare.
Is HydraMax a treatment for severe dehydration?
No. HydraMax is a supportive wellness service for clinically suitable adults. Severe dehydration or acute symptoms require urgent medical assessment and should not be managed through a wellness IV appointment.
Can HydraMax support exercise recovery?
It may provide fluid and selected electrolyte support when clinically appropriate, but it cannot guarantee faster recovery or better performance. For many people, oral fluids, food and rest are sufficient.
Can HydraMax cure a hangover?
No. An IV cannot speed alcohol metabolism, remove alcohol from the body or make unsafe drinking safe. Persistent vomiting, confusion, breathing problems or loss of consciousness require urgent medical help.
What is the difference between HydraMax and MiniBoost?
HydraMax centres on saline hydration and a balanced electrolyte blend with light B-vitamin support. MiniBoost is a shorter, small-volume infusion centred on B-Complex vitamins and vitamin C.
How often can I have HydraMax?
There is no single schedule suitable for everyone. Frequency should be based on clinical assessment, hydration needs, medical history and total fluid and electrolyte exposure—not an automatic repeat plan.
Does booking guarantee that I can have the infusion?
No. The service proceeds only when the clinical team confirms that it is appropriate after screening. You may be advised to speak with your GP or choose a different route.
