IV UltraViv
Freshstart IV therapy
IV UltraViv
A clinician-led recovery infusion combining 0.9% saline, balanced electrolytes, B-Complex vitamins, vitamin C and magnesium. UltraViv is designed to support hydration, normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal muscle function when clinically appropriate.
Function · recovery pathway
Hydration and selected nutrient support for recovery-focused goals.
UltraViv begins with a 0.9% saline and electrolyte foundation, then adds B-Complex vitamins, vitamin C and magnesium according to the clinic’s approved protocol and your individual assessment.
This is a supportive wellness service rather than a cure for a hangover, jet lag, infection or illness. Optional prescription medicines are never routine and may be considered only after an individual prescriber decision.
Controlled fluid support
The 0.9% saline and electrolyte foundation provides clinician-led hydration support under professional supervision.
Selected vitamin support
B vitamins and vitamin C contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism without guaranteeing an instant energy effect.
Magnesium and electrolyte support
Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance and normal muscle and nervous-system function.
What is included
The UltraViv recovery profile.
The exact preparation and amounts follow the clinic’s approved protocol and your individual assessment. Any prescription adjunct requires a separate clinical decision and prescriber authorisation.
0.9% saline
An isotonic fluid foundation used to provide controlled hydration and deliver selected nutrients by IV infusion.
Balanced electrolytes
Selected sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium salts support normal fluid balance and normal muscle and nerve function.
B-Complex vitamins
Selected B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal nervous-system function.
Vitamin C
Contributes to normal immune function, normal energy-yielding metabolism and protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Magnesium
Contributes to electrolyte balance, normal muscle function and normal energy-yielding metabolism. It must be administered at an appropriate rate.
Clinician-selected adjunct
An anti-nausea or anti-inflammatory medicine may be considered only when individually appropriate, prescribed and permitted by the clinic’s protocol.
Who may consider UltraViv
A recovery-focused option for clinically suitable adults.
UltraViv may be discussed with adults seeking a broader hydration and nutrient formula after travel, a disrupted routine or overindulgence, provided there are no symptoms requiring urgent medical care.
- Travel and disrupted routinesFor adults looking to discuss hydration and nutrient support after travel, jet lag or a demanding schedule.
- After overindulgenceFor supportive hydration when clinically appropriate—not as a hangover cure or a way to make unsafe drinking safe.
- Hydration and mineral supportFor people seeking a saline, electrolyte and magnesium foundation with selected vitamins.
- Feeling generally run downFor a recovery-focused wellness discussion, not diagnosis or treatment of persistent fatigue or illness.

Safety comes first
Tell the clinician about your full health history.
UltraViv is not suitable for everyone. A different service, oral hydration, further information from your GP or no IV treatment may be the safest recommendation.
- Heart or kidney conditionsThese can affect how the body handles fluid, potassium and magnesium, so the clinician must assess whether an IV infusion is appropriate.
- Medicines and allergiesBring an accurate medicine list and disclose allergies or previous reactions to IV ingredients, anti-sickness medicines, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medicines.
- Pregnancy or breastfeedingTell the clinical team if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning pregnancy before any treatment decision.
- Vitamin C and magnesiumG6PD deficiency, kidney-stone history, renal impairment and some heart conditions may affect the proposed formulation or infusion rate.
- Optional prescription medicinesThese are never automatic. Relevant cautions may include ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding, kidney problems, drug allergy, bleeding risk or heart-rhythm concerns.
- IV risks and red flagsIV risks include bruising, irritation, infection or allergic reaction. Confusion, fainting, chest pain, severe breathlessness or persistent vomiting require urgent medical assessment.
Common questions
Before booking UltraViv.
Clear information helps you decide whether a clinical consultation is the right next step.
How long does an UltraViv appointment take?
The appointment usually takes approximately 45–60 minutes. Your clinician may adjust the infusion rate, and you should allow time for assessment, preparation and aftercare.
Can UltraViv cure a hangover?
No. An IV cannot speed alcohol metabolism, remove alcohol from the body or make unsafe drinking safe. Severe or worsening symptoms require appropriate medical care.
Can UltraViv treat an illness, food poisoning or severe dehydration?
No. UltraViv is a supportive wellness service and should not delay diagnosis or treatment. Persistent vomiting, confusion, fainting, severe pain or breathing problems need urgent medical assessment.
Does UltraViv always include prescription medicine?
No. Prescription adjuncts are never standard or guaranteed. They may be considered only after individual assessment, when authorised by a qualified prescriber and allowed by the clinic’s written protocol.
What is the difference between UltraViv and HydraMax?
HydraMax is a foundation hydration and electrolyte formula with light B-vitamin support. UltraViv is a broader recovery-focused formula that also includes B-Complex, vitamin C and magnesium, with any prescription adjunct considered separately.
How often can I have UltraViv?
There is no single schedule suitable for everyone. Frequency should be based on clinical assessment, medical history and cumulative fluid, electrolyte and micronutrient exposure—not an automatic repeat plan.
Does booking guarantee that I can have the infusion?
No. The service proceeds only when the clinical team confirms that it is appropriate after screening. You may be advised to speak with your GP or choose a different route.
